What is the singles database?

It's a list of single adults across the United States that have told us they're open to being considered as a potential match for our matchmaking clients. Joining the database puts you on our radar. We keep you in mind as we search for matches for current and future clients. It doesn't mean we are your matchmaker — we're not searching for matches on your behalf. We will only reach out to you when and if we feel strongly that you may be a match for one of our clients.

Is this a dating app? Can I see or contact other people in the database?

No. There's nothing to browse, no profiles to scroll through, and no way to message anyone. The database isn't visible to other members — it's a private collection of profiles we review when we're matching for a client. If you would like more opportunities for matches, you may sign up for Constellations or a matchmaking package.

Joining is a one-time $350 fee. It covers a screening conversation with our team and your place in the database we check first when matching for clients. It is not a subscription, and it does not buy an introduction or a guarantee of one. If the fee is a barrier, tell us before you pay — a limited number of waivers are available, at our discretion.

Is my information private?

Yes. What you share is used only to consider you for our client's searches. We don't publish it, and we don't share your contact information with anyone without asking you first. If we think you might be a match for a client, we'll come to you before sharing your contact information.

What happens after I complete the questionnaire?

Four steps, at your pace: 1. You submit the application. We'll email you an agreement to review and sign electronically. 2. You sign, then pay the one-time $350 fee. We'll send a payment link once the agreement is signed. 3. You schedule your screening conversation with our team — a call by video or phone. You're welcome to include a support person if helpful. This is where we get to know you a little beyond the form. 4. You're in the database. From there, we may reach out if you seem right for a client we're representing.

Does joining guarantee I'll be introduced to one of your clients?

No. Joining makes you eligible to be considered — it doesn't promise an introduction, a date, or a match. We reach out only when we believe there's a genuine fit with a specific client. That's the honest limit of what the database is, and we'd rather be clear about it than oversell it.

Can a parent, family member, or support person help me?

Yes, absolutely. Many people fill it out with someone they trust. The application has a place to add a support person if you'd like us to copy them on messages about a potential match, and you're welcome to bring a support person to your screening conversation. The decision to join is yours — but you don't have to do the process alone.

Do you work with people all over the United States?

Yes. We're based in the D.C. metro area, but the Singles Database is nationwide — you're welcome to join from anywhere in the United States.

How is this different from Constellations or becoming a matchmaking client?

These are very different offerings. The Singles Database makes you eligible to be considered for our clients; we're not working on your behalf, and we only reach out to you if you happen to seem compatible with one of our paying matchmaking clients. Constellations is an ongoing membership — community, resources, gatherings, and being considered for introductions as a member. A Matchmaking Package means you hire us, and a dedicated matchmaker and coach work directly and intensively to find and arrange matches for you; you are guaranteed a certain number of matches per six-month contract. Joining the database is not the same as becoming our client. It's the lightest, low-investment way to be part of what we do.

What Happens When You Join

Tell us about yourself through approximately 35 mostly short questions and checkboxes. You’ll also upload one recent photo.

The form cannot be saved and completed later, so please have your photo ready and set aside enough time to finish it in one sitting.

After you submit the questionnaire, we’ll email you the Singles Database Agreement to review and sign electronically.

Once you sign it, you’ll receive a separate invoice for the one-time $350 administrative fee. Your registration is complete once the agreement is signed and the fee is paid.

After the screening, we’ll add what we learned to your private database record. We may contact you if we believe you could be a potential match for a matchmaking client we are actively representing.

You may never hear from us. We are not conducting a matchmaking search on your behalf.

You’ll then receive a link to schedule a brief screening conversation with our team. This gives us an opportunity to learn a little more about you beyond the questionnaire.
