Constellations
by Harrington Matchmaking
Join Constellations to be considered for introductions and access member resources — without joining our waitlist or committing to a full-service Matchmaking and Coaching Package.
Kate Inez Harrington
Owner, Harrington Matchmaking
“We created Constellations to better serve the wider network we have built over many years. Harrington Matchmaking is proud to have one of the most extensive databases of singles who feel left behind by traditional dating, especially neurodivergent and disabled adults.
We understand that many adults and families are not ready for a traditional five-figure Matchmaking and Coaching Package. At the same time, our waitlist for one-on-one clients has continued to span several months.
This membership program offers a more accessible way to join our community. We meet each adult, create their community profile, consider them for introductions and welcome them into our events and member resources. We hope you’ll consider joining us.”
What Membership Includes
Introduction Opportunities
Each member’s community profile becomes part of the wider Harrington Matchmaking network. When we see a promising possibility, we contact the member privately to ask whether they would like to be introduced.
With permission, we may also share a member’s profile with matchmakers we trust, expanding the networks in which they may be considered.
Unlike a high-touch Matchmaking and Coaching Package, Constellations does not guarantee introductions.
Additional Benefits
Membership includes complimentary admission to eligible Harrington Matchmaking gatherings, including singles events and virtual programs.
Members also receive access to the members-only portal, where they can register for gatherings and explore dating and relationship resources. Discounted one-on-one coaching is available for members who want additional support.
Who is a Constellations for?
Our members, like our Matchmaking and Coaching clients, do not share one diagnosis, lifestyle or level of independence.
We like it that way.
Independent,
but Tired of Dating Apps
An neurodivergent or disabled adult who works full time, lives independently and has close friendships — but has struggled to turn dating-app conversations into actual dates and rarely moves past a first date.
Dating With Practical Support
An adult with an intellectual or developmental disability who works or volunteers part time and lives with family or in supported housing. A support person may help with logistics, while the adult makes their own dating decisions.
These examples represent the range of adults we serve.

Looking for Greater Visibility
An adult who does not use dating apps and does not go out often. They want matchmakers to know who they are and keep them in mind for potential introductions — without making the five-figure investment in a full-service Matchmaking Package.
We have the most members in the Washington, D.C. metro area, including Maryland and Virginia.
Second is major cities along the east coast.
Clarity is Kindness
We encourage clear and honest communication.
This means saying what you feel, what you want, and when something does not feel right.
Avoiding these conversations may feel easier at first, but it often leads to confusion or hurt later.
Being clear helps both people understand each other and respect each other’s boundaries.
Slow is Safe
Getting to know someone takes time.
We encourage our community to move slowly so they can notice how someone communicates, follows through, and treats them over time.
This helps you figure out if someone is kind, reliable, and safe to be around.
There is no need to rush into decisions. Taking things step by step helps build trust and leads to better, more stable relationships.
Pressure is Poison
When someone feels rushed, overwhelmed, or pushed, it becomes harder to connect and make good decisions.
We do not rush people into conversations, dates, or relationships.
You are allowed to take your time.
If something feels urgent, that is a sign to pause.
Healthy connection should feel calm, respectful, and not pressured.
Collaborative Process
Once they enroll, members meet with the Harrington Matchmaking team for a video call. We ask the questions, get to know you, and create their community profile as we talk — no long questionnaire required. We record our conversation and keep it confidential so that we can revisit it, even if matches don’t happen soon.
Most members attend independently. However, a parent or support person may join when helpful or if the member has higher support needs.
Each piece is made with attention to detail, ensuring quality you can trust and a finish you’ll be proud to show off.
From texture to tone, we consider the small things—because they’re what make a product truly stand out.
Our products aren’t just nice to look at—they’re built to integrate into your life with ease, purpose, and durability.
We choose materials that are as thoughtful as the products themselves—sustainable, durable, and made to perform.
