The Patrick Falco Memorial Scholarship

Helping adults with disabilities build friendships, find community and explore dating in memory of
Patrick Elliot Falco.

The Life Behind the Scholarship

Patrick Falco was 26 years old when he passed away.

He was a cherished son and friend, and, for a brief time, a matchmaking client of Harrington Matchmaking.

His parents, Jeanmarie and Ken Falco, created the Patrick Falco Memorial Scholarship in his loving memory.

Ask Jeanmarie which photo should be featured at right. Opening video can be easily swapped. Can send options.

Patrick did not let his disability define the life he could build.
He filled it with connection, purpose and joy.

Purpose

Patrick was surrounded by people who loved him. His parents were his fiercest advocates, his friendships nourished him, and his beloved pets were always part of the family.

Passion

Sports were a huge part of Patrick’s life, especially baseball. He followed his teams, wrote about athletics for Caldwell University and loved watching games with friends.

Competition

Patrick was a serious chess player who competed in tournaments. The game challenged him, gave him something to pursue and brought more people into his life.

Belonging

Joy

On a Legends of Baseball cruise shortly before his death, his mother remembers Patrick smiling nonstop and keeping his parents out dancing almost every night.

Patrick took his work seriously. He worked in data entry, cared about doing things well and didn’t like leaving a task unfinished.

Patrick had led a full life.
There was still something he was searching for: a girlfriend.

Patrick wanted the chance to date, build a relationship and find someone to spend his days with.

That hope brought him to Harrington Matchmaking, where he began working with Kate Inez Harrington.

Carrying Patrick’s opportunities forward

Jeanmarie and Ken Falco spent Patrick’s life making sure his disability did not make his world smaller. They advocated, encouraged, arranged, drove, problem-solved and kept opening doors.

When Patrick told them he wanted to find love, they took that seriously, too.

Now, they are opening some of those same doors for other adults with disabilities.

More Than a Membership

Our scholarship goes beyond a Constellations membership, giving recipients additional avenues to meet people, build relationships and receive individualized support.

Access

A wider circle of opportunity.

Complimentary admission to any and all Harrington Matchmaking events, access to a private, paid tier of our singles database, and increased opportunities to be considered for introductions — including with matchmaking clients outside Constellations.

1:1 Coaching

Individual support when it would help.

Scholarship recipients can access one-on-one coaching from Harrington Matchmaking that isn’t typically included in a Constellations membership.

Constellations Membership

A full year of membership.

A welcoming community for friendship, dating and belonging — with virtual and in-person gatherings, group coaching, and ongoing opportunities to meet other members.

Patrick wanted connection.
His memory is creating more of it.

The Patrick Falco Memorial Scholarship gives other adults more opportunities to build friendships, find community and pursue relationships of their own.

With gratitude to Jeanmarie and Ken Falco for making this possible in Patrick’s memory.
